Alright, it’s official: romka magazine #6 is out now!
In this issue, 69 professionals and amateurs from 33 countries share their photographic treasures and tell the stories behind them. For the first time, there are two special features as well: an illustrated short story by American author Paul Kwiatkowski and a collection of found photographs by London-based artist Steven Chandler.
Aside from dozens of amateur photographers from all over the world, there are some prominent contributors as well: Noah Kalina, who created one of the first viral Youtube videos when he took a photo of himself every day for 6 1/2 years, Owen Ashworth, who is best known for his lo-fi music project “Casiotone for the painfully alone”, Danish artist couple Nicolai Howalt and Trine Søndergaard and Pendleton Ward, creator of the Emmy-nominated series “Adventure Time with Finn and Jake”. Issue six also features unpublished photos by Anne Schwalbe, Jerry Hsu, Sarah Small and Jan von Holleben.
